Grown in the highlands of La Libertad, Huehuetenango, this decaf is a blend of coffees from several small farms cultivating classic varietals. Rather than using lower-grade beans, this coffee has been handpicked from standout lots after extensive cupping to create a decaf that holds its own. The Swiss Water Process, chemical-free and flavor-preserving, was used for decaffeination, ensuring this coffee stays true to its origin. It’s smooth, balanced, and full of character, whether enjoyed on its own or with milk.
This Swiss-water-processed decaf coffee is well-balanced and delicious. The rich cocoa is offset by ample sweetness and a nice acidic sparkle that's not too imposing but brings some structure to the cup.
